MGB Chase in Battery Park City

MGB Battery Park City

As I was pulling out of my parking lot in Battery Park City (where I work) I see a green MGB! They are a rare sight in the city. I pulled out my camera phone and hit the gas. He was trying to find a parking spot down there (no easy feat). I was able to get a couple shots of it turned onto the West Side Highway.

Wow, I am impressed that someone would chase after an MGB, although I'm wondering why you couldn't catch him. It looks like a rubber bumper B (74-80). Great camera catch. I just hope that someone here in Houston is also excited to see my 73 B when it ventures out. We do get some good gawking but no cameras seen. I think my car is shown in my June 2004 archive.

Hi. Thanks for posting! MGB's aren't that common around the city (although I did spot a very sweet yellow/green MBG GT on 66th and Broadway last week). And I just love MG's. Hope to get a Midget in the very near future. David.
